Email Integration Data

With your explicit consent, we may access:

• Email receipts from your inbox
• Purchase confirmations and warranty information
• Only emails related to purchases and warranties

Data Stored on Your Device

TrackWarranty saves your vault on your device first, so the app works without an internet connection and without an account:

• Product details, dates and copies of your receipt images or PDFs are stored in the app's private storage on your phone.
• Warranty reminders are scheduled locally by your device's notification system.
• If you sign in, this data is also synced to our servers so you can back it up and restore it on another device. If you don't sign in, it stays on your device.
• Receipt scanning (OCR) sends the image to our servers for processing and is only available when you are signed in.
• To make receipts searchable, the app reads the text on your receipt photos on your device (on-device text recognition). This text is stored with the item and, if you are signed in, synced with it.
• If you join a household, items you choose to share (including their receipt files, text and notes) are visible to the other members of that household. Leaving the household stops sharing your items.
• You can export your data at any time as a CSV file, a PDF report or a backup ZIP from the app. Exports are created on your device and shared only where you choose.
• Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes the on-device copy. Data already synced to your account remains until you delete your account.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

We retain your information for as long as:

• Your account is active

When you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except for information we're required to retain by law.

TrackWarranty is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and provide adequate protection for your personal data.
